ADAM PROUDLOCK LEAVES ECCLESHALL

Heavy defeats spell the end for the manager

Following last night's heavy league defeat at Pershall Park to Stockport Town, manager Adam Proudlock has left Eccleshall FC.

Last night's defeat, which provided the visitors with their club record league victory, came on the back of another such result on Saturday when the Eagles also lost at home to Cheadle Heath Nomads, both combining to leave Eccleshall in the bottom two relegation places in the table.

After last night's game, he met with Club Chairman, Neil Washington, and it was decided that he should stand down from his position.

The club would like to thank Adam for his efforts in his time with the Eagles and it is regrettable that things did not work out as well as everyone had hoped when the season finally got under way. We wish him well for the future.

First team coach, Jake Robinson, will take interim charge of the team, beginning on Saturday when the Eagles travel to Alsager Town for a league fixture.
